Edward Rendell is full of confidence following a recent test at Donington Park.
Rendell finished second in the 125 British Championship last year, an achievement made all the more remarkable as it was his first season back after suffering a broken pelvis. Rendell will be targeting his second victory in the championship when the season kicks off at Brands Hatch this Easter (18-21 April).
Rendell said: “I’ve only managed to test my bike once which is not ideal; many riders in my class will have been out at least three times pre-season!
Although at a slight disadvantage, I feel extremely confident with the bike and more importantly the winter upgrades introduced by the team.
Unfortunately not all is well as I am running out of race funds. I work 12 hour shifts to support my ambition, however this doesn't cover all the costs! I am currently seeking local business support to join my success.
Rendell can offer significant exposure to sponsors; this includes awareness in local media, race bike branding, Eurosport coverage and social media adverts. Hopefully the support is out there for this talented local sportsman.
