With weather reaching 30 degrees across the country, this was certainly the round to shine. Finishing work at 23:50 on Thursday night, Rendell travelled the 100miles to Snetterton Race Track. Fuelled with Monster Energy Rendell put in some impressive times across both Friday and Saturday, finally placing him fourth on the grid (Front Row). With the rest of the country contemplating a mid day siesta, the 125 boys geared up ready for their race at 13:30, a race that would see Rendell stepping up to Second on the podium; this seasons best performance so far….
Progression is being made with the bikes set up and Rendell’s confidence in the machine is becoming more evident at each round. The next race is hosted at Rendell’s home track “Brands Hatch”. Will we see another podium and if so could it be at the top?
Rendell reports: “What a weekend! It’s clear we’re down on speed compared to the other lads; this is predominately down to their weight and size, however I don’t see this as an issue, I ride the thing like I’ve stole it and look where its got me today.. Second in a British Championship! Just Two weeks till Brands, I can’t wait and I’m more motivated than ever to finally grab a win!”.
