Starting from the front row, Rendell was in a good position for a solid race result. From the off Rendell was battling for a podium finish managing 9 laps in the top 3! On the 10th lap of 14 Rendell entered the final corner with lack of drive; prematurely ending his race with a technical problem. Unfortunately the front sprocket had come off.
Understandably Rendell is disappointed with this weekends result, however with 10 rounds to follow is not too disheartened.
Despite the DNF, Rendell set the fastest 125 lap and remains within the Top 10 (7th 125GP Championship)
The next meeting is at Oulton Park (4-6 May) where Rendell hopes to recoup vital championship points.
Rendell is looking for sponsorship to help fund this season's racing. If you feel you can help, please contact him by visiting his website: www.edrendell12.com or by contacting 07768619700.
